Stockbooks

Stockbooks are stamp albums made of heavy cardboard with horizontal glassine or clear film strips, into which stamps are inserted. Even if part of the collection is stored differently, e.g. in illustrated country albums, stockbooks are an essential piece in the tool kit of every philatelist. They can serve to hold duplicates, as a mobile solution for visiting stamp shows, or to accommodate the most valuable pieces inside a safety deposit box.
